Intelligence Insulting
How do I miss watching Death Note (the anime series) since it was one of the few pieces that doesn't portray stupid characters doing things even us at the top of our 16s already knew it was stupid.
The main character is like... retarded. Hes had more than enough evidence to treat these beings in a not-welcomed fashion, yet he acts like a hippie of live and let live.
Megan gives her money to someone of a disturbed past and obvious dubious present, for blackmail? Oh the innate naiveness of a child. Allison placing herself in a madhouse, same immature drama.
And the whole thing with the entities, its just about expelling one of them with a crowd to watch or film it, done. But noooo! They're probably gonna run another season (or many) of this show in the same intelligence insulting script.
I've (we all have) seen my share of people that can't think straight or act with the least bit of logic and forethought during a tense/dire situatuion, but even them could take better steps and advice after the happening, and plan ahead.
All in all, seems this show is produced by/for religious nuts, since the world of the show is nuts and populated by nutwits.

Which leads to the standing problem with the world nowadays: Moronic people that are overly lenient towards bad people, allowing the later ones to spend resources that should be aimed at anybody else except them.
Why is every show these days plagued by stupid scripts and lame characters, have writers and producers of our age degenerate so badly? Are all the smart folk into another field such as engineering, medicine or politics?
