Is Balloon Boy an hallucination?

Personally I think so.

His buttons change from black to gray, he has a sign and balloons, the doesn't, then does again, he doesn't kill you, he isn't in the death mini games in FNAF 2, etc. Maybe he's an hallucination created by the Marionette, trying to knock out your flashlight so Foxy can kill you?

Thoughts?

I think he serves the same purpose as Chica in the first game. He sneaks in while you're not looking and disables your flashlight (like Chica disables your doors in the first game) so you're easy prey.

Bonnie does the same thing. And while Chica kills you, BB doesn't.
