Second series
Will Jekyll get a second series? My kids have loved it even more than Dr Who
shareConsidering how underwhelming the latest series of "Doctor Who" was, I don't blame them.
shareOuch
shareGiven how it ended I certainly hope there is a second series; it was pretty obvious that the creators are hoping for one too.
shareThe ending was pretty abrupt. I had to come here to see if there was an Episode 11. Looks like we would need to wait to see if there would be another season.
shareAbrupt is almost an understatement. You were not told what happened to any of the surviving characters after their 'Matrix' moment and you had to look hard and quickly to see the apparent fates of Jekyll and Dance, who appeared to have knocked each other out and were lying on the floor. It was an ambitious series so I imagine Higson and Co are hoping for another season. Good too to see Donald Sumpter in a strong role as a good guy.
shareWith that "Matrix" moment being the most ridiculous, by far, scene of the show, since inexplicably Hyde was as fast as Flash and Quicksilver..
Fanboy : a person who does not think while watching.share
How were the ratings for all the episodes?
It is strangely very difficult to find the ratings info for ITV shows on Wikipedia or elsewhere (same case with The Frankenstein Chronicles which just ended couple of weeks ago).
Hopefully we'll get a second, if only to wipe the memory of that gawd awful finale from my mind. I mean really, that was the best idea Higson could come up with? Open the casket in some slow motion orgy and then a shot of everyone lying on the floor? Abysmal end to a great, fun series. I also hope it returns as I enjoy looking at Lily and Bella *sigh*

Duty Now For The Future
Hopefully there'll be a second series, the ending was left open. Most likely see what the viewing figures were like.
First they've got to sort the complaints out, heard Ofcom were called in to sort them out.
I guess Dance got the heart, but Hyde cracked it. So Dance is very powerful but not all in all super-powerful. Wounded hearts arent nice to have, even if you are Captain Dance and can brush of almost anything.
Alternative theory is that the "waves" of red just teleported (minds remember) into demon land and Hyde must find his way out. I find the first more interesting as an idea.
"The end is not the end, but for the beginning an end is always near."
God I hope not this was utter tripe.
Yet more lazy scripted rubbish.
And acting as wooden as Epping forest.
This cr~ap relied on CGI far too much.
Yet one more embarrassing TV fodder for the UK.
Looks like we are trying to copy the Rubbish turned out by the Yanks.
It's been canned.

The only viewers it was left with could fit into a non Tardis type telephone box.
It's that man again!!
