Yes. The pills were not placebos, and the effects of the pill, fatal. Their systems could not handle the changes caused by the pill's effects. Hope this helped.

Also, the one who survived, the Asian girl, Lily - went on to escape.

The Drug was under trials and these humans were just replacement of Mice. The Bodies of bomb guy,teleporter and the water lady just could not handle it so off they go.
What I want to know is what power did john get?? His eyes turned yellow so maybe same as giggles ?? control over air ???
