Synder is barely convincing

why run away to a uncertain future when hes already secured in the Global authority? It would make more sense for him to lied that he has no way out but to escape with them. It wouldnt be hard anyway after the incident at the labor camp.

He activated some kind of tracking device once they got out of the colony. They are coming to get him, and promised a big fat promotion. He didn't want to merely be an assistant to someone who was even less trustworthy than him.

I know that he is betraying them , my point is Will and katie have no reason to trust him at all, Synder is a survivor so joining them when he has a secured position is ridiculous, anyone in that situation would have kill to be in his shoes and he want to throw that away just to be free?

unless maybe Will have something planned to deal with Synder's betrayal later?

reply

They definitely don't trust him, but they've done each other favors when it was mutually beneficial. I think they will be on guard, but Bram will be the one to figure it out first, and warn them just in time to escape.
