Or elsewhere?? Since Penny Dreadful has suddenly decided to end,I would love to fill that void with another classic period redo of a classic. Gothic Romantic theme are hard to find anywhere except books of course. But visually,I'd love to see more..in the horro genre especially.
Very sad about Penny Dreadful - I had not had time yet to watch season 3 this summer but accidentally heard about the ending and now I don't want to watch it.
Oh I know,.but it is a wonderful season. The woman I watched it with said it was her favorite and she felt ok with the ending of things.. I am just so disappointed and I didn't think some stories had proper closure, but I don't know how anything would have made me happy. I love it so much,,.
Do see it ,,and let me know what you think,,,I wish I had seen it after knowing it was going to be done. Next year is Orphan Blacks last year. And I'm sad,but I know it is coming,..so let me know what you think,
I'll,pre order it as soon as I can.,,I'm not unhappy with the season,,just that they ended the story...and again I didn't feel like it had to be over...
Good! I'm glad...I think it will be interesting to hear from you about what your thinking, knowing it was the last season and written as it was.
None of us knew of course. I was in real shock. Still kinda am. More disappointed, but I am sad that I haven't got the anticipation of next year. I don't want to loose these characters...the poetry,music..all of it..
So,be sure to let me know here and there what your thinking, knowing these are the last 1o episodes. Some things I was genuinely confused about,,(of course I won't say a thing,..lol). But you probably will know which I mean. And more than anything I thought some of the stories did t have the closure they deserved.. I want to know what you think, because it is very possible that I am just overlapping my emotions. So check in with me I you've got time and let me know your thoughts...it will also, selfishly be a way for me to enjoy PD a little longer,.lol... I do look forward to watching it again with friends who missed it...but it's the same of course.. Either way..I think you'll enjoy season three..it is full of all the surprised and horror and drama and poetry, incredible music and costumes of the other years...and like I said, the woman I watched it with liked,it best...

A&E bought it some time ago and it's possible they are holding it until Halloween. Amazon . co.uk is releasing it on DVD Oct 3rd of this year, though, so maybe A&E would want to air it before then?
I watched in on Youtube.com There's an Everton series, or channel, that has foreign subtitles (perhaps Portuguese) but at least it's not dubbed. Search for it and scroll through the German and Spanish dubbed versions. I'm hoping A&E airs it eventually. I don't know why they're waiting.
I hope so too. I don't watch reality tv. And A&E I think is mostly that. I may miss it being advertised if it comes to the,. May have to make a note to check each month or something. Thanx
I don't understand BBC America, they air mostly reruns of Star Trek:Next Generation. It isn't even British. They have some good British series...Doctor Who,Dirk Gemtly is very, very good and I've seen some mini series etc... but they certainly don't have a schedule of a lot of British tv...PBS does a fa better job there. I watch a lot of it...streaming Acorn is under $5.00 a month. Maybe they will will show it sometime???
