Does anyone know where
this movie takes place (or is supposed to take place). The scene with the waterfall at the end of the town was breathtaking. Was that a real scene or computerized?

shareYou say "this movie takes place". Is that a question or a statement? Something seems missing from that.
sharedid you not see it starts as a question in the title of the thread?????
shareProbably not. And that is a pet peeve for me. I have seen thousands of questions in programming forums and sometimes people do put part of their post in the subject and then I don't understand it. See, I often open multiple threads (discussions) at a time so when I read the thread I might not see the subject. People should not require us to look at the subject to understand what they are saying.

thought the poster who started the thread and others would enjoy some added info on the waterfall!
I just watched this and also was impressed by the shot of the waterfall. If the movie was shot in Canada, would anyone know in what town?
shareMost of it seems to be filmed in Squamish,BC. On one of the street scenes, there is a Whistle Stop Boutique behind the actors, and that is in downtown Squamish -- that is on the highway between Vancouver and the ski resort at Whistler. There are a lot of parks and waterfalls around there. Brandywine Falls is a famous one in the region.
Hope that helps.
Thankyouthankyouthankyou! How kind of you to respond. I would love to visit that area, and your information is much appreciated!
sharesounds pretty cool
susan
I have only seen Niagara falls....but I do know there are other falls throughout the country
hope to see them someday
The waterfall at the beginning of the movie:
There are nearly 900 waterfalls in the Finger Lakes, according to Scott Ensminger, waterfall afficionado and author of Finger Lakes Falls, all just as lovely as Chequaga Falls.

If it's supposed to be the same setting as the books, then it's supposed to be in Georgia, but like a big part of tv/movies, it was filmed in Canada.
