Maybe it changes later in the show but all I can look at is the terrible weave in Candace's hair with the long braid. And that the first shot in the series is literally her braiding what looks to be Barbie hair. Most people's hair isn't cut straight across like that, especially on a side braid!! Maybe they are trying to make her look younger with the hair but I don't think it's necessary..
shareI find the hair so repulsive, I came here to express my distaste!! Not only the hideous braid, but the idiotic manner of wearing it on her left side! Why wear it like that at all, let alone the entire show, or at least so it seems, anyway. And, Candace apparently wears it beyond this role (see pics). UGH!!!

It looks like it's unraveled wherever her hair met the weave and it's just unecessary. Even a simple braid going down her back would've been fine. Ponytail one day, bun the next, there are a number of normal, everyday hairstyles that would've sufficed.
The fact that they were trying to glam her up and it's so poorly executed just leaves the viewer asking 'why?'
agreed. she's pretty enough on her own. if they did feel the need to use a weave, they needed to invest a little more on the hairdresser.
shareI want to brush it! The weave is bad enough, but there's also the "artfully arranged waves" that make me cringe. Whenever I see hair styled this way, I hate it! It's supposed to appear casual and easy, but we all know every strand was carefully placed and sprayed into place.
shareI feel like I'm betraying this very entertaining film by posting my criticism of Aurora's fake hair but I must agree with the other posters. My complaint isn't just about the irritating, unattractive braid, but with the hair extensions that are clipped into Aurora's head. In at least two scenes that are back shots, the long, hair extension pieces can be clearly seen clipped on to her head. Her real hair separates to reveal the hair clips. Whoever is the hair stylist for this movie should be embarrassed.
