Just saw the first episode ...

I think it is looking great. It is certainly original as far as I can tell, I have never seen a comedy quite in this style. One of the best parts so far for me is how clear it is that Patrick Stewart is having a lot of fun with the role.

And that's all I have to say about that.

great first episode and very daft comedy. patrick was hilarious when he appeared in that classic episode of "extras"

Yeah dude, that was one of my favorite eps of that show too! So based on that I knew Sir Patrick could pull off a rollicking comedy.

Very well done pilot episode. Can't wait for more... Starz hasn't done well with comedies yet I don't think, even though most have been decent like Party Down and that suicide thing

In its tone it reminded me of the before-its-time Jay Mohr series, "Action." Had it been on cable instead of FX, it might have taken hold.

Oh "Action" was great.... a bit to ahead of its time... but right on the money about how the entertainment industry works...

Love Blunt Talk... not only because Patrick Stewart is wonderful, but the lovable weirdness of all the characters

Oh I loved "Action", great show and probably a bit ahead of its time... I am sure if it was on now it would be a hit!

I came here to say the same thing. I haven't really seen him in much and couldn't imagine him in the role, but he's doing a fantastic job. There must be a little crazy in him because he's just playing it too well.
