probably my least favorite film of the year, i can't believe the rating

constant hand holding voiceover over-explaining the painfully obvious plot mechanizations while unrealistic and underwritten characters deliver trite dialogue and share moments ripped straight from other (better) movies

by the end i couldn't feel for any of the characters because the whole thing was such an fantastical exercise in schmaltz

"i'm making eggs like mr church taught me" pan to all the things mr. church left behind, V/O literally says that mr church left them a legacy... how much more hack does it get? it's almost parody level
