Jason and Nikki

In the last Bourne entry, Nikki reveals to Jason that they had been lovers in his "past life." But absolutely no reference is made to this in JASON BOURNE, and Nikki is killed off half way into the movie. So that's that! Not even a courtesy flashback scene in which Jason is now able to recall what he had once shared with Nikki?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those guys who reads Harlequin Romance novels, but the point I'm making is that JASON BOURNE failed to even address, let alone resolve, that dangling plot line from the previous entry -- which is rather a bit disappointing.

There is no reason to address that because there isn't anything to address. The sequel clarified that.

I think for me the issue isn't so much that they never got a chance to "relive" or start a new, it's the fact that every single *beep* time our hero even looks at a girl, she *beep* dies. I mean seriously, is this where we are heading now? A hero must be a loner, must have so many mental and physical scars, most of all on his heart, that he is a *beep* robot? For this "small" fact alone i shut the movie off after 33 minutes and i will not pick it back up even if my life depended on it. Such a waste

You should've finished watching it. She is shown alive in the post-credits sequence.
