Thorium

It's an old technology, used during the first nuclear reaction experiments at the University of Chicago back in the thirties. It IS the way to go. With thorium it makes it possible to use spent uranium thereby eliminating all nuke waste past and present. There's some great documentaries on YouTube about it. Check it out.
The US and the rest of the world needs to adopt this method.
