I thought i have to say this one thing, in my community we laugh at IMDB ratings for this type of film. We enjoy this type of film but it has no chance where the wrong demographic are voting.
There's a film out right now called Absolutely Fabulous now to me it is Absolutely dog turd but i am the wrong demographic for the film so it is not fair to vote/comment on films I would not like to watch any way.

shareIt's the translation. British "humour" isn't for everyone. Other types of comedy will not be for everyone. I wouldn't rate it either if your problem with the movie is that it's not the kind of comedy you usually enjoy. That being said.....
The daughter's lines are confused. Upstairs, she keeps saying there's no purge in Beverly Hills. Outside her room, she keeps warning them to watch out for the purge. The continuity is a little off I think...and I'm only about a 3rd of the way through. I haven't seen a Purge movie all the way through before, but I'm pretty sure I can watch this movie to the end. Just watch it and try to relax and you'll be fine.
I like black comedy and gave it a one. This movie is a step backwards with colorism, racism and ghetto, explicit language everywhere. This is NOT funny.
