This type of thing has happened many times before. Ants and A Bug's Life are good examples. During development, two animation studios push forward with competing products. History has proved that more often than not, the first one out of the gate is the most successful. Maybe they have waited long enough that people have forgotten about Epic. Probably not. I didn't even see epic and it's all I could think when I saw the first trailer for this film.
shareSad but true. I tried to be interested while watching the trailer, but kept feeling like I've already watched this movie, sooo, I just stopped it. Meh ! I was hoping it was good. I also thought about Guardians, and I doubt this film will be any better, guardians had a lot of great things going for it.
