He ain't dead just yet...

Great doc on an underground phenomenon of a guitarist.

Quiet ex-teacher, somewhat shy, atheist, and all round star nonetheless. What more can be said of this great slightly eccentric geezer.

Partially melancholic, this film manages to give an apt view of a British sensibility; often dour yet with hopeful longing for interesting things possibly to come.

Eternity awaits, but great to know oblivion hasn't met him face to face just yet – and what a truly interesting face (and personality) Wilco really has.

It reminds one of what makes the UK home; people being largely allowed to be left alone to plough their own furrow, in the knowledge that someone will usually appreciate your efforts, no matter how large or small.

Long live Wilco Johnson for reminding us of that.
