Are the posters on this board nuts???

I am watching this now and reading comments on the message board about what a joke this movie is- really????? Are only men posting on this?? I am so confused? What the fvck are we teaching our kids today in college if this is acceptable behavior?????? I'm talking against men or women- assault is assault. I am sickened by the responses on this board- I have a daughter in college currently, a freshman, I hope to God I have taught her to stand up for herself if she is ever faced with this *beep*

This documentary and the cases looked at in the documentary (including quoted statistics) are all false, misinterpreted, or blatant lies. That is why people are angry.

Regardless of the quality of this film, yes, the MRAs are, absolutely, nuts.

No.

Hey, if you do not like how colleges are handling rape allegations, let's all agree we advocate all reports to handled by police and get rid of campus kangeroo courts. How about that?

reply

Geez. No one is saying rape is okay. But this film is based on a lot of lies.

Well, I guess if you'd read it on a "blog" it must be true that this movie is bullsh*t...I guess you've also never been a girl on a college campus or at a party assaulted/raped? Maybe names shouldn't have been used but I don't doubt for a minute these things didn't happen. You probably didn't like the movie "Spotlight" either, maybe you read on a blog that wasn't true either????

Good grief. No one is denying rape exist. But this film is built on piles of lies. Do a film on real victims like The Invisible War, and everyone will get behind it.

RAINN denounced rape culture and asked White House to get rid of campus kangeroo courts and hand all allegations over to police. Which is also something MRA advocates.

Do you even know who funds and runs these campus kangeroo courts and why MRA is trying to get rid of it? Go and look up Wendy McElroy vs Jessica Valenti's debate at Brown.

Whoa dude. Stop using facts and evidence against deanad's feelings and victimhood. It's rape.
Feminists are unbelievable, aren't they? They will ignore 99 facts that prove their ideology wrong, and focus on one lie that supports it. They're as stupid as they are toxic.

Whereas you will focus on the 99 lies that support your ideology, and ignore the one truth that proves it wrong. I will mess you up, son.

In the film, there were a couple of young men who'd been raped on campus. Men are raped, too.

Want to know whom it was years ago that first brought that to my full attention and caused me to care?

A feminist.

Want to know what's "unbelievable"? Hoisting your sorry ass onto this particular thread in which a mother is expressing worry for her child.

If it were anything else, if she were talking about drugs and/or alcohol on campus, or plagiarism, or any other issue(s) pertaining to ethics and/or the health, safety and welfare of her daughter as a member of the collective student body (yes, champ, that means women AND men) - then just what in the hell would you be doing instead of coming on here and taking a dump on the carpet?

Give it a rest, pal. Time and place.
