It's easier for people with low budgets to make movies and that's a good thing. And I honestly thought this was pretty good.
Dragonball Evolution and Last Airbender are two movies that come to mind that were far worse and those had bigger budgets, more studio backing, bigger name cast and crew and were based on popular franchisees.
There wasn't any part of this movie where I thought they really screwed up, said something that made me cringe or noticed any obvious gaffes or mistakes. And that's not something easy to do at any level of filmmaking.
