It would have been nice to see Julie swagger as more of a badass. She acts tough, but then at the end when the bad guy shows up she turns into a typical horror movie bimbo. I was hoping she would outsmart Krukov, and kill him, without needed Bob Lee to rescue her.

She's been shown to be a strong capable woman, but she is not trained with weapons. She can operate a shotgun at close quarters of course. But answering a barrage of rifle fire with her child in harm's way is not in her wheel house.

She's not just a "normal" Marine-wife. She's Bob Lee Swagger's wife. Of course she knows how to handle a weapon. Or at least she should know.
She should have just unloaded on Krukov, through the door. Wouldn't have required alot of expertese. She should have done that the moment he opened his mouth.
I agree, I thought she would have been the one to kill Krukov.
