They're so warmly innocent and helpful. They had some of the funniest lines. Just endearing.
Another aspect that was particularly insightful was when the competing news outlets ran with, and even embellished the made-up cartel story. Deliciously true-to-life regarding the USA's penchant to manufacture 'news' for entertainment and ratings. Smart, silly humour.
Yeah they really seemed to care about Ian, they were very sweet.

Loved them, I about lost it when the wife said she was going to send money. And Ian gives her the "What? Why?" She says, crying, "For the HEROES!!!" Then later on she says "You give those kidnappers hell!" Hahahaha!
