Bridgend

This is a real place in wales britain! Where young school children comitted suicide over several years. This film is a total slap in the face to the real place and victims.its not a coincidence, its a *beep* disgrace.

reply

Is anyone suggesting "coincidence"? Yes, it's a film set in the real Bridgend. It was made by someone who spent some years in the town getting to know teenagers there and then based the film on their stories.

So why is it a disgrace? Is it just the fact that someone's made a film based on those events that bothers you, or is it something specific in the story that's the problem?

Its a reminder, to families who have to relive there youn child dying! Get it? Not that anyone will see this z list *beep* anyway. But to make a z list movie(almost like a college film project is a disgrace) hope nothing happens to your children, then a low budget piece of crap comes out about them! *beep* disgrace. And also what bothers me is yourinvolved in this piece of crap, your reply tells me you are....or is there some other reason you would waste your time replying to a comment on a messageboard about such a terrible movie disgrace. Dont reply, your a moron

Heh, no, I have no connection with the movie.

I apologise if my first paragraph made it sound like I was defending the movie. I wasn't. I was just reacting to your saying "it's no coincidence". Your saying that made me wonder if you thought there'd been some attempt to fudge the connection to real events. It would have been very wrong if the filmmakers had done that, and so I was wondering if that was the source of your anger. If it was the source of your anger, then I was hoping that by showing you that it was not actually the case, I could make you feel better about things.

I asked you a civil question, asking you to clarify what your issue with the film was, because it was far from clear and I was genuinely interested. I'm still interested and it's still not entirely clear.

I'm not wasting my time. You're obviously upset about this film, I'm trying to give you the opportunity to let us know why, because without that, I don't think your venting is going to achieve anything.

So why not answer my question.... Are you saying that no-one should *ever* make a film relating to those incidents? Or just that it's *too soon*? Or, are you saying that there's something specific in the content of this film that's offensive?

It's a death cult and for a considerably smallish town, the police isn't doing their job properly because kids shouldn't be "filling in the gap."
