Part of the premise reminds me of the CW show 'Hart of Dixie' anyone agree? Instead of Rachel Bilson's 'big city doctor' moving from NYC to 'Bluebell, Alabama (because she didn't get the position she wanted in NYC), its Candace Cameron's 'big city doctor' moving to small town in Alaska...because she didn't get the position she wanted in her original city? lol
shareI'm watching it right now, and it reminds me of Northern Exposure with a doctor thinking he was going to a big city in Alaska, but he ends up in remote Cicely, Alaska. Also, he gets flown in a small plane by a pilot who he eventually falls for, and it looks like the doctor will fall for this pilot also.
I've never seen Heart of Dixie, but it does sound like that show too.
Reminds me of Doc Hollywood with Michael J. Fox. Big shot doctor winds up in a rural town instead of the prestigious position they coveted only to wind up being their shot in the big city to find they fell in love with the town and a person in it.

it kind of sounds like it, doesn't it
but then again, the other comparisons of heart of Dixie, sounds just like it, and that other one that was done years ago, never cared for it....
and I've never really seen doc Hollywood...
