I agree with some of the Northern Exposure comparisons, but am I the only one who noticed that this is the same plot as "Doc Hollywood" starring Michael J. Fox. Clear down to the romance with the local and the big guy having a heart attack. By the way, not an unfamiliar script, Pixar used the same plot for its movie "Cars".

That show also happens to take place in a small town in Alaska. Here its just a love coach who goes to Alaska for a job and ends up finding her own true love there.
