This show is kickass!! 3 matches,1 houre no *beep* about stupid apps or muppets, they dith a great job the first episode introducing the wrestlers who i dith not know.
guys, one houre lucha underground is better than 3 houres of stupid wwe.
what i also like is that lucha underground is not trying to be wwe or tna, they have there own identity with a clear vision for what they want to do,thats what is laking in tna right now,wwe don't want to be a wrestling company, verry strange indeed .
It's a surprisingly fun show... and I'm not even really a wrestling fan.
I do, however, enjoy those old Mexican wrestling movies from the 1960s & '70s (Viva el Santo!), and the LU wrestlers carry on the tradition. Flashy masks and great acrobatics.
No, it means if the show runs for at least 7 years, he will be on it. El Rey can cancel the show at any time if they want to. TV performers usually sign a 5 or 6 year contract but they can be let go at any time.
George Carlin: It's all bullsh-t and it's bad for ya.
WCW was great at one point, big roster, cool intro,it went down quickly because there was never change, the big stars where holding down the young talent, the story's went down hill etc.
but i enjoyed WCW, it was my first wrestling experiense.
Agreed. As someone who has worked on the indy scene for the last 15 years, I havge to admit that Lucha has reignited my enjoyment of watching a show. The WWE has been too predictable, to the point you can tell when they are going to cut to commercial during a match (usually just after a wrestler has been tossed out of the ring) and TNA has suffered from bad booking and a shoe string budget.
I look forward to one hour of Lucha Underground than I do three hours of raw, and I have a friend that competes in the WWE (not going to name him because I don't want him getting buried over this post).
Lucha has really taken over social media as of late, and I think that this is going to be the promotion that changes the game!
i read allot of forums about Lucha Underground, Man everybody likes it! This show have me markt out man it seems the wrestlers (yes i said wrestlers, not lame ass superstars) really enjoy working there, man it shows.no restrictions no shackles from that other place, look at alberto el patron the guy really shines in Lucha Underground.Son of havoc is a fan favorite.Nobody gets buried thats refreshing to see.
Yeah im chomping at the bit for season 2. I thought the lucha style would wear thin on me, but it hadnt all first season. Kept me rivitted and Angelicos stage dive to help win the trios titles will go down in pro wrestling history.
That dive was right up there with Mankinds 2 spots in hell in a cell or jimmy snuka splash off the cage or Benoit diving headbutt off the cage.
