More? Yes of course.... but after an upgrade to version 2.0.

If we are to copy Hwood, might as well start with the cinematography and concepts. This, this is by no means complete. But the reason I'll give it a say, 7/10 is coz its at least a start, away from the usual boy-meets-girl melodramas; Iv had enough of which.

Women in sarees who have never heard of alcohol, drugs, cussing and sex, bhabhis who never let their eyes wander, gfs who will run back to your arms after you've booted their a$s, etc etc... oh c'mon now man, enough of it(there are lots of mmses on the net to prove otherwise)! Thats not how the country is today[maybe 30 years ago?], so why adorn it with such false embellishments?

True that bwood has made movies overseas, but how much of the NRI populace has been accurately portrayed? Men and women return to their homeland and can sing ghazals? [Ok, thats rhetoric]. So many people born and residing abroad cannot even understand Hindi.

Of course movies like this will never be appreciated[read understood] by the 'lungi' Salman/SRK fans, but perhaps a little more budget, an improved storyline, better actors and we have possibly a runaway hit! Time to cater to the uber Indian mind! Like I said before, this is by no means awesome, but a start. Whether it grows from here remains to be seen.

Deepa Mehta you rock! Wish you were able to increase the production value.
