Very bad editing

Its MSD's biopic, of course, it will break all records even if it's an average movie.
Had so much expectation from Neeraj Pandey. Surely, this movie had its moments of triumph but marred with bad editing and too much of "love angle" it comes out as an average movie.
The material was so much for MSD that it being so long was expected but that why it should have been crisply cut. But in the hurry to put too much, often missing out what really needs to go there and over putting less required stuff, we had some bad cuts like when his first girlfriend meets with a sudden accident. The melodious song playing in the background suddenly stopping was very good but then it again resumed which was not at all needed, let people soak in what they just saw. Another was a bad CGI when a young Sushant's face is put up on young MSD's face which looked so uncomfortably fake. Another was so much of abrupt cuts in the second half like when he is playing and the people made any comment before the audience could think, appreciate or react, it's cut to a scene with totally different emotions and atmosphere. Another was no visual cue on the screen to make the audience understand which series or match is going on, the title before a match vanishes too quick to read. Also, some visual cues (like scoreboard) must have been used on screen (at all times) at least for all international matches with match name.

very valid points, another thing is they could make the movie 30-40 minutes lesser, it would have been much better then
