Nominated for Oscars

I saw the film yesterday during daytime, it is already been month now & can't believe theatre was completely full, luckily came early & got middle back seats. Very emotional & true story, nothing short of Star wars, Titanic or Jurassic Park I saw back then.

Very heart breaking story of how Muslim Mogul rulers would do anything to force Islam religion of others during 17th & 18th Century. I just hope world would know what is was like to live under them during those times. Most users talking negative about it in fact never saw it, I suggest to see before you judge.

It is more educational historical film then entertainment without high end Hollywood effects.

Again, it was made on mere US $3.1 million budget, unlike Hollywood hits with budgets of over $150 million. (Please keep this important fact in view before rating)

Well said!!!

It is a true story that many of us had heard when we were younger and had some pictures around the house of these brave boys, but this animated movie brought these princes to life for us. You could feel their emotions and bravery. The story was told so beautifully and I was so absorbed throughout the film, that the quality of the animation had no significance to me. I personally thought they looked so handsome and the younger princes were so cute.

This film couldn't have come out at a better time. We need to realise what these four princes gave their life for. They fought against oppression and tyranny, so that nobody should be forced into Islam. The Mughal empire were the extremists in that period and it shows how ruthless they were. They didn't even spare a 6 and 9 year old. It also reflects on the the many good Muslims who were appalled at these atrocities.

They were the sons of the bravest. When the younger princes (6 and 9 year old) were asked in the Mughal empires court what they would do if they were allowed to leave. Their answer which was more or less...' We would continue what our dad started, form our sikh army and destroy you'...... At which point they were sentenced to death which they happily accepted. I remember smiling when they said this so bravely...... You couldn't help but feel proud...... They were like little lion cubs who were not going to be intimidated.

These four princes, our heroes should never be forgotten. Each and every one of us should have at least a fraction of their will power to survive!!!!!

I have yet to see a non-Sikh who raves about this movie. All the ratings so far are so highly biased purely because the Sikhs associate so closely with these characters.
