They'll be back...

I do not recall if the phone was dead for good but they have no truck and the cop car is probably not operable so they are in effect still trapped on the farm! No doubt the dogs will be back that night. If the phone still works they can call for more help and with evidence being two of the dead dogs a hunt can be launched to track the others down. Meanwhile, they are at movies end still in danger.

Lets go with they are rescued, dogs hunted and killed. They will attain a level of celebrity that will no doubt lead to a book deal about their ordeal and probably a movie. TV talk show appearances will be part of the deal as well. So with all of that extra income, the farm will be saved! Or maybe dad will have had enough of farm life and they all will relocate to Sydney!

Course the bank is still after them. Like a dog pack, killing one does not kill all. Sure they'll get money from the deals etc but maybe not in time to pay the mortgage! Seemed odd that the bank was so quick to foreclose when they had paid all the monthly payments, just overdue. Maybe things are harsher in Australia.
