Got away with it at the end

I hated that she got away with it too. That little girl (sister?) will grow up with a unrepentant thief as her caretaker. It would've been more honorable if Rocky turned herself in, did her time, and got a job when she got out.

Those parents obviously weren't the best influence, but that still doesn't justify robbing people just so you can get out of your own household.

I don't know much about the other two jerks, but I sure didn't miss them when they were taken care of by Colonel Quaritch.

It all hinged on whether the young people were looking to commit "burglary" or a "home invasion". Difference is whether they were looking to be violent.

The movie isn't even ambiguous. They gassed him & then stuck a gun in his face.
