One thing that bothered me...

I really liked the film, and I know it was central to the plot, but I just felt it kind of off-putting when the main character kept saying "everybody makes the choir". It's a good family movie to watch with your children, but when I heard that, I felt the need to tell my child that that is not an attitude which I share. Not everyone can have a solo every time, and waiting your turn is an important lesson in life. It was a neat twist at the end, I just wish she'd been more willing to appreciate being in the choir.
