Brian "The Snake" Brushwood is charming as the host of Nat Geo's Hacking the System. In it, he teaches audience, and innocent bystanders alike, the rules, tricks and tips to survive and stand out in today's modern city jungle. Brian is joined by producer Jason Murphy, and together and armed only with their intellect and a few tricks up their sleeves, they go in depth in exploring and exposing many scams that regular people fall for, tricks to get ahead in life and how sometimes the best tool for any job is only your brain.

Hacking the System is a show well worth another couple seasons as it has the potential to develop a mythbusters like cult following, Brian is a brilliant host and the chemistry between him and Jason is truly unique.

My goal in this show is too be more aware of people hacking me. Not to be a hack lol.

This show is a great little gem. Tons and tons of very important information.

Did you see his old 2 shows from last year. One of them he got out of a police ticket lol

Brian is a extremely intelligent and interesting man.

You guys should all check out Brian's YouTube channel "Scam School." He shows all sorts of neat magic tricks and bar puzzles and even a few things that wouldn't be out of place in this show.

He is also a host on some pretty cool podcasts which are worth checking out if you like his personality. There is "Weird Things" with Justin Robert Young and fellow magician Andrew Mayne which is about, well, weird things and also science and even a bit of tech. He also does "Cordkillers" with Tom Merrit about cutting the cord (using the internet to watch TV shows rather than cable) which has the tagline "Watch whatever you want, whenever you want, on whatever device you please." And finally there is "Night Attack," also with Justin Robert Young, which is NSFW comedy stuff and often incredibly hilarious as long as you aren't a total prude.

That's how I discovered this show! I've been a fan of scam school since about 2011 and recently I went back to watch some of his episodes and somebody commented saying "You should have your own tv show" and he commented back with a link to this!

No questions. No answers.. You just accept it and move on.
