So her boss knew she was going to steal the car, turn off the highway and drive through the backwoods of nowhere, the night before she actually did it? Add to that He had his wife in a wig stop at all the random places Dani would stop the next day? The Diner with the coat, the Gas station for the attack, the motor cop, the hotel? Or that she would eventually call for help? Unless I'm missing something, It's way too far fetched! And how did he even know what dress she would wear to come and do his typing? She may have worn a dress color his wife didn't already have on-hand.

The English captions were going by pretty quick. Did I miss something?

No, the boss explains that he never expected her to head south. His wife, disguised as Dany, drove along that route to Kaub's house (where had staged the fake crime scene) so that there'd plenty of witnesses who saw "Dany" drive there. He expected Dany to drive directly back to Paris from the airport where she would eventually get arrested for the murder of Kaub.

It's all very contrived, unoriginal and uninteresting. If it wasn't for the lush visuals, smooth soundtrack and Freya Mavor's beauty I would've turned it off halfway.
