Elle Fanning's performance

A few years ago my brother and I were debating which of the Fanning sisters would be the first to snag an Oscar. I don't recall who we settled on, but the trailer for this film would seem to suggest Elle might at least have a nomination before she's old enough to vote.

Definitely impressive. When watching the trailer I thought "he looks familiar, where do I know him from?" Elle really came off as a boy on the inside and acted like a lot of guys who are that age. Even when I found what the movie was about, I still thought of the character as a boy (which is great and how it should be portrayed as). Out of all of the upcoming performances, I think Elle might win for this role because it seems like she has truly become the character.
