Betrayal from within FBI ?

I don't know if this has been discussed here, but I think eventually it may come about that Agent Santiago or one of the other FBI people is with the Dark Army.

Yup and Yup. Santiago is dirty...but not as dirty as Sanchez.

Yeah, it's been discussed. I'm not ready to jump on that bandwagon, though. To me, Santiago is the cliche bureaucrat you see in all too many cop dramas. The guy so concerned with rules and politics that he stands in the way of the dedicated (sometimes rogue) agent in Dom...who is also just a bit cliche. It works well enough, though, to keep the story moving.

Most people who've come up with this theory say that it must be the case since the DA has been so quick to act, especially when taking down Cisco. But they forget that the FBI has been hacked, both their network thanks to Darlene and Angela, and their phones thanks to Elliot.

The thread left loose is that they knew they were hacked relatively on when Dom witnessed them losing access to their own databases, then the show simply dropped that thread. So it's possible that they closed that door, in which case we're back to there being a Dirty Sanchez.

And by the way, you probably don't want to look up Dirty Sanchez on urbandictionary.com.

Be sure to proof your posts to see if you any words out

It's good to remember just how much they already knew as well. Having the full knowledge of that allows us to view all those scenes with Dom and the FBI differently. Their actions could speak more towards their python plan than maybe someone being a mole.

I'm not ruling it out, I thought that there must be one there too, but that was before I knew how much they knew! Just puts it into a whole other, possible, context.

Ok, thanks for the responses.

It could turn out to be Santiago, however I would be disappointed he is actually growing on me. I definitely think in Season 3 there will be FBI agents with DA affiliation, I just hope it's not as cliché as being Santiago.
