shareWhat do you think of it? I haven't watched it yet. Downloaded the first ep and will watch soon to give my take. From the 5.2 IMDB and 7% rotten tomatoes, I think I may drop it after first 3 episodes if it holds true.
shareThat Game of Thrones actor makes a good villain. They didn't do anything wrong. Editing was good. Director caught lots of facial nuisances. Effects are what you expect for TV. The humour lacked; it was totally too serious. The costume design ruined it. Poor adaptation of comics. Set design was bad too. So it's a humourless poorly visually designed show. It will need a change up to make it past a season.
shareThe whole problem with him as a villain was the setup. His plan depended on complete incompetence to succeed. That's fine for a shitty 2 hour movie with some good action where the hero saves the day at the end of the 2 hours. There's just too much good tv to bother spending (and wasting) the 6 or so hours the first season would require. Plus, if/when it gets cancelled after the 1st season, there will be a cliffhanger ending that never gets resolved.
If you don't have access to all the good tv, and/or you like being treated like an idiot, this show might be watchable.
