All of the disappeared were returned 5 years later in the present right.Then how did Peter Parker return to high school with his best friend who by that time would have been out of high school and look a little older.Was he returned to his own timeline.

His best friend was also snapped and so still in High School.

If I were snapped away for 5 years, no way would I go back to high school. Just take the GED man.

Exactly. This isn't a case where Peter (and the others) came back 5 years later and are now 5 years older. Peter doesn't have the body, or experience, of a 21 year old. He is still 16, as are his friends who were also snapped.

They address this in "Spider-Man: Far From Home," where Flash tries to pass himself off as old enough to drink.

His ID shows his age as 21
