Cap returning the stones....(SPOILERS)

I have spent far too long thinking about this and I just don’t see how Cap could have achieved it.

How did he get the Mind Stone back into the actual Scepter to return it to 2012?

The Space Stone back into the Tesseract?

The Power Stone (that no human was meant to be able to even touch) back into The Orb and then back into that ‘force-field’ in the Temple Vault on Morag?

The Reality Stone back into Jane, let alone how would he would be able to navigate his way through Asgard simply to find her to do this?

Did he simply just give the Soul Stone back to the Red Skull on Vormir? And if so, what happens to the Soul (Black Widow) who was sacrificed?

The only one that looks like it would be do-able to me, is that he could easily give the Time Stone back to Ancient One in 2012.

Or am I overthinking or perhaps misunderstanding he whole thing?

Maybe he went back in time to the moment the ‘Time Heist Avengers’ first nab the stones and he taps them on the shoulder and then they simply just put them straight back? Or can they then not even take the stones from that timeline and all is set right again?

I’d love to hear how anyone else imagines Cap could have pulled off the stones return thus ensuring that all the ‘branches of time were clipped’.

They could make an entire movie just having Cap returning the stones and it would make Marvel hundreds of millions.

The Soul Stone returned to Vormir is definitely the one that Cap would not have been able to do. There is no indication at all that Red Skull would accept the returning of the stone, not to mention Cap encountering his old nemesis would result in an entire movie of events to occur on that planet alone.

For all we know Red Skull's duty as the one who leads others to the Soul Stone would be over the moment that Hawkeye took the stone, and would be nowhere to be found. As a result, Vormir would be a lost cause and the Soul Stone unreturnable.

Because lets face it, no one would sacrifice their love for the Soul Stone just to return it the moment it was taken.

I’d totally pay to see this movie...and buy it online....and probably a DVD hard copy!

And your point about the Soul Stone makes a lot of sense - I’d never even considered someone might have to make the sacrifice just to return it.

Easiest move: return the time stone first, and have the Ancient One use the time stone to reconstruct the scepter and tesseract, then drop them both off at Stark Tower

Big question is how he gets from Morag to Vormir without the Benatar. But with all the Pym particles he needs, he could use the quantum realm to travel to any place and any time, including both Morag and Vormir in 2014.

Seems cruel to re-inject Jane with the reality stone, but you do what you gotta do.

I'd guess that whatever force made Red Skull the soul stone's herald will just summon him back once Cap returns the soul stone to Vormir. Boy will Red Skull be pissed - he's not only dragged back out of peaceful retirement, he's dragged back by his arch enemy!

Or ... he could just appear just after the earlier Endgame heroes appear and hand his stones to them. The time heist still succeeds, with none of the pitfalls.

Oh I love this.
It never occurred to me that the Ancient One could resurrect the Scepter & the Tesseract - that is brilliant!

And I too keep wondering how Cap would be able to fly himself anywhere in Space so it makes so much sense that he could simply get there by using the Space Stone or even with the G.P.S device in the Quantum Realm.

I really appreciate everyone’s input so thanks for the replies!
