They literally made her the stereotypical butch.

The movie was good, though.

You’ll get a big amen from all the insecure, hate campaigning, legit fake news-loving (and live to have meltdowns over Hollywood slowly but surely not catering only to the 1 demographic they’ve catered to for decades) social injustice chuds. I guess kool for you, bro.

I don't give a flying f... I'm not from the US, your social issues are none of my problem. What I'm talking about is - imagine a man doing the same role, word for word. You'd be asking why they'd made the hero an ass hole.

And now they even gave her "the haircut". Just google "butch" and you'll see what I'm talking about.

You can't develop Carol Danvers, she has no where to go, she has no hero's journey, she is perfect in every way. Hmm seems to be a pattern forming within Disney (cough, cough Rey) That is the sole reason Marvel put Carol Danvers into the MCU, they needed there Wonder Woman to show how inclusive they are even though they already had about a dozen really good female charcaters already at hand. That movie slot should have been given to Black Widow.

The character and actress are perfect for each other. Completely emotionless, not funny, no range whatsoever, she is the hero you know she can smile or laugh every now and then it isn't a crime. Raising your eyebrow doesn't equate to acting.
