damn that movie sucks

alot of important stuff is set up/foreshadowed (Tonys vision of the 'endgame'..Vision/Scarwitch..the stones...CivilWar...Ragnarok/Planet Hulk..wakanda...cap & peggy in EG....black widows movie etc) but overall its just a big bunch of silliness (unlike IW/EG) with some flat out painful to watch scenes (Black Widow/Banner - which was so bad is never referred to again lol , alot of the Sokovia stuff - hawkeyes peptalk to ScarWitch)

The first time I saw Ultron talk I just wanted to start laughing. The worst was his stupid expression when listening to Scarlet Witch.

I guess they just forced that metallic CGI frame to follow performance capture from James Spader, huh?

It's crazy how slapped-together the movie is, especially considering the quality of the predecessor and successors.

I think they put all their faith into Vision and the Hulkbuster fight. Everything else was just created to support that. Oh and the scene when Ultron first steps out is cool.

All I remember is ScarJo floating around on her magic motorcycle that broke all laws of physics.

How so? Most of the motorcycle scene was done by a stuntperson.

The movie is good, but I can't take Robert California seriously as a villain in the movie, he even slants his head like in the Office.

Tried rewatching Avengers 1 the other night. Its way superior to Ultron but about halfway after Coulson checks out kept falling asleep! (I get so tired in the evenings these days) So will attempt it again soon..

actually been working my way back the MCU after seeing EG... so rewatched IW then Civil War then Ultron then Avengers 1... and was then going to rewatch the odd one like Rangnarok, Winter Soldier, Dr Strange, GOTG 1/2 , and ending with CapAmerica1 and IM1. (but theres some don't think could face again like IM2/3 Thor 1/2 ...and never even seen the AntMans or BP or CapMarv! (at some point will have to check them out lol)

Rewatched Guardians 1 (since saw in what must be 2014)..didn't like it much back then but kind of made more sense now in light of IW/EG

Ultron was very good. Spader was great. Vision was great. At least in that movie, when someone died, they stayed dead.

Ultron was gay and retarded, changed from a cold and calculting "end justifies the means" robot to a Joke spewing non-scary halfwit. Nice change.

I sadly have to agree. It's the worst MCU movie, in my estimation. Whedon just "phoned it in" so to speak and the personality of Ultron is just far to comical to take him seriously as a mega villain. I'm so grateful they replaced Whedon with the Russo brothers!
