Question about how Thanos came to the present

I have a question for you guys :)

Hulk puts on the gauntlet and makes a snap successfully. This is in the present (2023).

But then they get attacked by Thanos from the past. How was that possible?

Nebula past had nebula futures time travel device...They used that to go to the present....
