I'm not seeing Avatar Huge...

In fact, I'm not really seeing anywhere it can make drastically more than IW...'

2 Billion Is Impossibly hard....

Theres simply no Precedent for a Sequel to match or exceed a 2 Billion film....

I think Endgame Will get extremely close to IW....that could be slightly less, slightly more or damn near the same amount....and if it does it will Be Historic and a Box office 1st just by getting CLOSE to IW....

Predicting Endgame to Gain around 700 Million dollars on Infinity War IMO is just not realistic...

They Only real way it could theoretically do that would be in 2 markets...China and Domestic...

Infinity War had Massive Grosses in those 2 Markets....

I just dont see Endgame gaining an additional 100 Million in those markets over IW let alone 700 M+

I do think Endgame has a real shot at slightly topping IWs opening Weekend...

But everything else...IMO is gonna be pretty close to IWs totals...and that would be incredible

again there are only a few example of films grossing 1.5 Billion + and their sequels all had huge drops...

The Force Awakens - 2 Billion....Its Sequel TLJ-1.3 Billion

Jurassic World-1.6 B +...Its Sequel JW 2-1.3 B

Furious 7-1.5 B+...Its Sequel Fate-1.2 B+

history shows its going to be tough for Endgame to even match IW.....out grossing it by 700 M+ IMO is literally not in the realm of possibility

Trust me Bill, I think infinity war will push this beyond 2.1 billion , IF the reviews are very good

One of the few times I think you could actually be right, bill.

Will it have The Last Jedi's disasterous-sized drop? No.

It will be very hard to hit Infinity War's numbers yet again, though.

I agree with you that it will experience the normal, moderate erosions most sequels experience after a record breaker.

Your Hatred for Disney Controls you....lol

lol boy I bet WB wishes they could have some films with disasterous-sized drops like Disney that Nets them 400 million + and Is The Most Profitable film of the year....

lol think before posting...

this is a classic example of YOU LOSING even though you Won...

perfectly fine for you to troll on The Last Jedi making far less than TFA(You won there, theres no denying TLJ didnt not perform as well as expected)....but the second your hatred for Disney starts controlling you and leads you to make Delusional statements, You LOSE

In your attempt to Over the top exaggerate The Last Jedi's decline...You embarrassingly cut your own throat by calling The #1 film of 2016 and The Most Profitable film of 2016 a disaster...

had you simlpy, Just stuck to the truth and not been controlled for Your Hatred for Disney, you couldnt have avoided "Disastrous" mistake....

ONLY you could find a way to LOSE when you win

Its chances of making that kind of money would potentially be greater if it weren’t released during the beginning of the summer movie season and had no real competition in the foreseeable future (same goes for Infinity War). It was a different story with the winter release that was Avatar; Avatar spent MONTHS in theaters, to boot. But, you never know!

Coming close to $3 billion shouldn’t matter either way. Is it realistically going to make less or *slightly* more than IW? I know one thing — it is absolutely going to be huge and possibly end up as the year’s biggest film in more ways than one (I say possibly because little ol’ The Lion King could be bigger than expected - my money’s on Endgame tho). While the secrecy surrounding Endgame and the trailers showing little to almost no big action sequences may or may not keep some general movie goers away, one can still expect it to break records and be a massive hit overall.

But when all is said and done, I betcha Endgame, like Infinity War, will be winning over far more people, i. e. the groundbreaking effects won’t be the only/main thing about the film that many viewers will remember about it years later - oh snap!
