How old is Carol Danvers?

How old is Carol supposed to be by Endgame? If she was I her mid late twenties in Captain Marvel which was set in 1995 fast forward to Endgame which is right at IW which is set in 2018ish. That would make Carol possible 50ish then. Of course Carol probably doesn’t age much with Kree blood.

reply

Did you see Captain Marvel yet? If so, the answer/excuse for her not aging is pretty evident.
It's not a Kree blood transfusion that's doing it. She's Infinity Stone powered.
reply

Yeah. Watched Captain Marvel last night and SPOILER

her powers come from the Cosmic Cube/Tesseract.

reply

Which.....not really a spoiler since it was in Infinity War....

Housed an Infinity Gem.

reply

But her getting powers from it was not known if you haven't seen Captain Marvel. Also the Tesseract has been around since Captain America the First Avenger.

reply

Right.....I may be missing your point.

The OP is thinking that a Kree blood transfusion is the reason she has not seemingly aged in the 20 plus years between Captain Marvel and Endgame. We're putting out that there's a much simpler explanation in the movie.

reply

I see what you're saying. SPOILER

I was just saying it is a pretty big spoiler for Captain Marvel since you don't find out she got her powers from the Tesseract it til the end.

reply

That's why i put mine in spoiler tags. But when you didn't, the doors were open.

reply

To be honest I have no idea how to do spoiler tags. That's why I just put the word SPOILER and then went several spaces down. Frankly the gamefaqs site does it better where you just have to click on the spoiler bar when making a post. But this site doesn't have that option.

reply

okay that's easy. Let me help.

You put the word spoiler in brackets ..the [ at the start and the ] at the end. Then you write what the spoiler is. Then you put the [ symbol again, a / symbol, the word spoiler again and then the ] symbol. And you're done.

reply

Okay. gamefaqs used to have a similar system but when I tried it it just said the word spoiler without any tags.

Makes me wonder what one could become if they got infused with all of the infinity stones powers (not just on a gauntlet but actually blood/genetically infused). Just 1 infinity stone alone made her the strongest Marvel character... think of all 6 by just putting them in some form of energy matrix of sort then blowing each of them up. :P

reply

Well, the vision was gem powered and HE was pretty powerful.

reply

It might have more to do with Kree DNA than her powers. Not entirely sure though. But Ronan and Korath didn't look much younger than they did from GotG.

reply

So besides arriving in the MCU at the last minute with godlike power, she's also immortal. Great. And I thought the character couldn't be more groan-worthy. :P
