Marvel's 10th Anniversary IMAX Schedule

8/30:
Matinee________Late Afternoon________Prime___________Evening
Iron Man_______Hulk________________Iron Man 2_______Thor

All 20 movies in order of release in 5 days.

How much will this total net? There are very few people who can get all 20 films in and there are not repeat showings of the 20.

Next up are the origin films, then team ups and finally Fans pick.

As of this time there is only one IMAX theater in my area that is participating in this Anniversary showing.

Profits and the business angle of this aside, this is a very cool way to celebrate a decade of this franchise. A total treat for fans. I am, of course, going to this!

Seeing all 20 is certainly out of the question... honestly don’t mind skipping/missing a few of them... however I will be catching my most favorites.

Experiencing films such as The Winter Soldier, Civil War, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, The Avengers & Infinity War again on this massive screen should be excellent. Some will be shown in 3D, and that is completely fine by me (should do wonders for Doctor Strange).

I do have one goal. It has been 10 years and there are some family members who didn't catch many of these when they were initially released in theaters. I have an 18 year old nephew who really wants to see and or revisit many of these and I'll try and go with him to some even though I already have all on Blu-Ray or DVD.

It is akin to when I was a kid comic book collector and my younger siblings first discovered my collection. It was fun then and even more fun now sharing this way.

That’s great.

I do have similar plans myself. Although since I regrettably missed a couple of the phase 1 & phase 2 movies the first time around, seeing some of these for the time on the big screen is something I’m looking forward to (even though they aren’t what one would call the essentials).

By the lack of any reporting on this event one is left with the impression that the event was a colossal dud???

If otherwise Disney, IMAX and Marvel would have been singing their praises. That also means this was the second IMAX event dud by Marvel? The Inhumans being the other huge waste of money.
