All the best Marvel films gave one thing in common...

They keep the number of leading characters down!

reply

"Captain America: Civil War" had many leading characters and it was a very good and well received movie.

reply

I politely disagree, I though "CA:CW" was kind of a muddled mess, but with some really good scenes.

"Infinity War" needs to be better.

reply

Nah, not really. It could suck and still make a billion dollars.

reply

Good point. Let me clarify.

It doesn't necessarily need to be good to make a billion dollars, it just needs to be good to please ME!

And Marvel knows that, which is why I'm a bit pessimistic about this one.

reply

Affirmative. Whether you thought it was great or not, you can’t deny Civil War is widely considered one of Marvel’s greatest. It is arguably the best one in the impressive Captain America trilogy, too. Clearly not everybody will share this opinion, but the Russos did such an extraordinary job with the Cap films (handling many major characters so expertly) that they were handed the duties to make the next two Avengers films. I personally couldn’t be happier with the astounding Civil War and have no reason to worry about how Infinity War will turn out.

The original Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and recently Thor: Rangarok all have a place in this conversation, and those are definitely well-executed films (some of Marvel’s finest).
