"Super Mustache and Steepenwolf, worst CGI ever"

There, I fixed it for you :)

reply

Steepenwolf was in the bizzaro universe.

reply

Steepenwolf !!!

reply

You all do know it's StePPenwolf, right? Steepenwolf is what you do when you're making Wolf Tea.

reply

Every time I read Steppenwolf, all I can hear in my head is 'Born to be Wild'.

reply

As you should. Although, I tend to think of "Magic Carpet Ride" and then I think of Star Trek first contact and wish I was watching that instead of thinking about Justice League.

reply

Excellent! I'm actually listening to Magic Carpet Ride as I type this. Lets all hijack future threads with Rock music.

I enjoyed Batman v Superman and thought Wonder Woman was alright. I went into JL with an open mind, but the moustache thing and Steppenwolfe have killed the franchise for me. I can't take Superman seriously anymore, it was that bad.

reply

Why is it that the CGI in the DC films is so bad that it transports the viewer out of the movie. If Marvel can make it look so seamless, shouldn't DC be able to do likewise?

reply

It's the particular way it was done in JL. Every shot of Steppenwolfe was exactly the same, it looked like they just rendered everything he says throughout the movie with the same closeup and gave him the most bland grey filter. It's just lazy.

Then Superman's moustache, jesus christ it looks like they did a frame-by-frame photoshop of his upper lip

reply

Lol, that is exactly what they did...

reply

lol!

reply

Looks fine to me. Looks about on par with the Hulk.

reply

Speaking of the green guy, is it just me or does he look about 9-10 feet tall in the trailer, where they're charging into battle?

*Officially he's only supposed to be 7'-7.5' tall.

reply

Doesn't the Hulk get greener and bigger the angrier he gets? I thought that was a thing.

reply

I'm pretty sure that's not accurate ...or there would be no limit to his greenness or bigness.

Plus, in the comics, he doesn't just grow to 10' or 20' feet when he's losing to a bigger opponent. He simply gets more angry.

reply

Yeah, what's HELLBOY doing in these movies?

reply
