Is Black Widow going to die in this?
Scarlett Johannson's star power is dimming... Marvel might replace her with Quake. What do you think?
shareCould be, she's probably costing Marvel more and more with each film, they will probably want a younger and cheaper lead female at some point. And I've heard that Marvel plans to edge out the original Avengers as the actors get older, and replace them with a new generation of characters who will be played by actors who are younger and cheaper than Downey.
But it's not like Elizabeth Olson is ready to step and be the official Avengers Babe, I find her Scarlet Witch less than impressive.
That's why I propose Quake as replacement for Black Widow. The Avengers needs an Asian anyway to fit the so-called diverse image of today's Hollywood. It also may increase the box office in China, which becomes more and more important nowadays. Asian actress being more inexpensive for the studio won't hurt either.
Scarlet Witch is boring because her superpower is nonsensical and lazy. The writers can use her power to do practically ANYTHING really. It's like Green Lantern's power. Interesting only for 8 year-olds.
I wouldn't bet on it. Well, at least not on the idea of her being replaced by Quake (I would personally love that however). You never know though.

What? Since when is Quake/Skye Asian? She is a white woman. Unless you are thinking of May who was Asian. But I'm pretty sure Marvel has made it clear nobody from Agents of Shield is going to be in the movies and the show won't be acknowledged in the movies.
Skye is half-Asian, as is the actress who plays her.
