Brie Larson's interview problem

I just got around to watching some her MCU interviews to see what the fuss was all about.

Holy cow, how painful and awkward can you get?

It made me realize how much the MCU relies on its stars being not only excellent actors but gracious and charming interviewees as well.

Chris Hemsworth is the epitome of humility - EVERYTHING good about Thor movies is due so someone else. But when he credits his stunt crew, Brie IMMEDIATELY siezes credit for all her own stunts.

It made me realize how exceptional ALL the others are with publicity (except Renner).

One of my favorite running gags is Anthony Mackie's constant ribbing of Tom Holland for his youth (one clip has him interrupting Holland's interview to "give him his juice"). Larson looks like she'd throw a fit if Mackie pulled something like that on her.

It's ... uncomfortable to say the least

Even Renner. He's not the most charming guy in the room, but he looks like a pro and dependable, the kind of guy you want as a co-worker. That's good publicity too.
