Specifically Scarlett Johansson. She been playing Black Widow for 10 years. Dose Kevin Feige Award her dedication to the his franchise with her own movie before anyone else. No, He hires a Tree Branch and puts it in Cosplay outfit and points a camera at it. And wants it to Star in every movie from here on out. Kevin Feige has about much respect for women as a cat has for a mouse. Scarlett johansson could have been doing other things. She might have won Oscar by now. So thank Kevin Feige, you misogynist bastard

Well I think it's just that Black Widows origin story would possibly be difficult to adapt to the big screen?

They only really take bets on sure things it seems.

ScarJo certainly deserves it but the character was too much of a deep cut to center a movie around six or seven years ago. It kinda required her to play the character a half dozen times beforehand. I would argue the same for Captain Marvel but she got a shortcut with Infinity War hype and being the lead-in to Endgame. If Black Widow had that hype between say Age of Ultron and Civil War then she too could have gotten her movie.
