Nick Fury was character assassinated like Luke Skywalker

Not a coincidence, a Disney agenda, folks.

Yes.

In the comics he's a white guy who was in WWII and was a huge war hero and man of action. I believe he was on some life enhancing drug or something and was a master spy, warrior, etc.

In this film he was a cheer and easy going black guy who seemed pretty naive. It was like Jackson's most laid back character ever and I've seen most of his films.

On a side note, it was nice not having him yelling the whole time.

Do so called Marvel fans even notice what has been done to Fury?

reply

You do realise this is Fury over 20 years ago, a much more naive Fury, a Fury that hasn't seen anyone attached to the Avengers yet?

Thats why he's different, because his world view isn't yet changed by the future threats that are just around the corner.

But you go with your theory, I guess it must pass the time for you.

I think a lot of modern feminist film makers think that the only way to make a female character appear strong and powerful is to make all male characters seem weak, incompetent or villainess in comparison.Although i haven't seen this yet so i can't say if that's the case here.

reply

That's extremely lazy writing and says more about the weakness of the character of the writers than anything else.

I guess the race card can't shield you when you've got the XY chromosomes working against you.
