shareSame as TLJ , does not mean it is good
shareNobody gives a shit about Rotten Tomatoes critics score.
Let's remember that according to rotten tomatoes critics score, Black Panther is the greatest movie in History, far above Citizen Kane, the Godfather, Casablanca, Star Wars, Ben-Hur, Jaws, The Third Man, Metroplis, The Shining, Raiders of the Lost Ark, City Lights, The 400 Blows, The Birth of a Nation, North by Norwest or any of those stupid masterpieces that simply can't compare to it XDDDDDDDDDD
Yeap, that's what rotten tomatoes 'selected critics' said. Real cinema connoisseurs, you see XDDDDDDDD
Glad to hear the ratings are good, just because of the trolls. That being said I'll see it for myself, these percentages and ratings don't necessarily mean anything.
shareBut those aren't real scores. They're censoring the bad reviews.
shareWell anyone can twist any result to fit their agenda. If the reviews are bad then it's "Yay we were right, up yours SJW!" and if they're good to great then bring in the conspiracy theories, PC and whatnot.
shareThey don't censor any reviews. They list every single review published in every recognized media outlet and offer a percentage of positive reviews. You can't get any more unbiased than that.
shareBlack Panther was the same and it was overrated...maybe a 70% but definitely not as high as it got.
shareRT score ain't jiving with the reviews i'm reading online from major sites. Even the ones that usually slobber all over MCU.
shareYeah. I'm seeing a lot of 3/5 mixed reviews. But RT can find a way to count those as positive reviews if they like. It's subjective.
shareYeah, nobody's saying it was a disaster. Just a muddled mess of an origin story tripping over corporate nostalgia. Mostly sounded like another case of in-experienced filmmakers being handed a big budget film way over their skill level. I don't know why big studios keep doing that sort of thing. And of course, not sucking is a rave review today.
shareOh yeah. 👍
Incidentally, I think I remember Infinity War debuting with a similar score; CM’s score actually went higher from where it started—pun intended. But in any event, even if it goes down it’s evident the MCU keeps playing the fresh game as always (and to hell with the loser incel conspirators who are sure to make excuses and downplay its success any way they foolishly can!).
