It can't be as bad as "The Last Jedi"
The feminist aspect of that film was really dumb
This is gonna be like "The Hunger Games"

The more I see of it, the less it looks as feminist as it was first marketed.
shareWas it ever really marketed as feminist? They went with Her becomes a Hero. How is that suggestive of feminism?
Is there something suggesting that it was anti-male (and I am not saying that Feminism = Ant-Male)? Was there anything in the marketing campaign that was PRO-Female but covertly or overtly Anti-Male?
I've never quite understood the negativity towards this film except that directed at Brie Larson as "she can't act, or she's wooden, she only has one facial expression, I don't like her, etc."
Bump
shareThe feminist aspect of Last Jedi was much less than in Force Awakens yet Force Awakens is universally considered the superior movie.
The worst part about TLJ was the casino planet which had nothing to do with feminism. The rest of the problems centered around TLJ trying to do its own thing by giving the audience a different version of Luke and tossing aside Snoke. None of that had to do with feminism either. Rey having an easy time training and Holdo keeping her plan a secret was kinda a dumb way to promote feminism but the movie still could've worked with those things in place. It was destroyed by the rest.
